I love this iconic tree along 17 Mile Drive. I was very fortunate to catch it during a beautiful sunset. The water was a gorgeous icy blue and the rocks reflected the oranges from the sunset. I did a little tiny study to catch the colors before they disappeared. Then I took lots of pictures that didn't do the color justice. I used both of these to create the larger painting.
